an education

i feel like i haven't been seeing so many movies these days so this weekend i trotted over to see an education. despite all my mad men inspired 60s lust, an education left me with a renewed love fever for that time.

i was left somewhat unsatisfied with the film, but the costumes, peter saarsgard and the carefully crafted window into the 1960s was enough for me to overlook some of the less desirable part of the plotlines.

beautiful! and i feel like you do -- it looks intriguing, but something about the trailer annoyed me :)

Haven't seen this but it does inspire me to search it beautiful vintage pieces for the holiday season!

I saw it recently, and I agree, something was lacking - but the wardrobe and seeing paris in the 60s - that was nice.
